Moringa Tea Bag Review

What is Moringa?

If you have been into health foods for the past few years, you may have heard of Moringa.  Moringa is a tree that grows in tropical and sub-tropical climates.

Moringa has high levels of vitamins and minerals in it’s leaves and seeds. In addition to a broad range of vitamins and minerals, Moringa leaves also contain many of the amino acids that are required by the human body.  Some have called the Moringa tree a miracle, because it grows very well in areas where malnutrition is rampant.  It certainly appears that the Moringa tree was specifically designed to provide people with the nutrition that they need when they can’t get it any where else.

Even more interesting, once the seeds of the Moringa tree are dried and ground they can be used to clean water by binding dirt particles and precipitating them out of the water.

There are a number of international aid organizations that teach folks in malnurished areas about Moringa.  For more information on the Moringa tree and how it is changing people’s lives, visit Strong Harvest International.

Moringa Tea Bag Review

I have listed links to a number of products below.

In particular, the Moringa Tea bags are wonderful!  They are a little funny and take a bit of getting used to however.  When you first brew a tea-bag of Moringa powder, it smells like dried cow-dung.  But WAIT!!!  Give it a few minutes to steep and then take a drink.  It is actually really, really good!  It seems strange that the smell of the Moringa tea can be so different from the taste, but it is true.  It tastes great!
